Middlebury Fire Station

Project Description

The Middlebury Fire Department was looking for a true design-build partner to provide a creative yet practical approach to the renovation of their existing facility. R. Yoder Construction was chosen and was grateful to partner with the fire department, town hall, and town manager to provide a beautifully updated facility for the valued first responders.

A few challenges arose, as they tend to do in a large-scale remodel. The R. Yoder Construction team worked hard to provide timely solutions to ensure that the project was delivered on time and on budget.

With life safety on the line, it was critical to ensure the facility functioned properly during the entire construction process. This was achieved by intentional and constant communication, collaboration with multiple parties, and a creative phased approach to the process.

R. Yoder Construction was proud to be a part of the beautification of downtown Middlebury by providing a modern, yet timeless design for the remodel of the fire station which is a valued landmark on the north side of the town.
