Project Description

R. Yoder Construction undertook a transformative project involving a captivating addition to an existing facility, and interior and exterior renovations. The primary objective was to provide Nelson’s Chicken with a versatile space capable of hosting weddings and receptions. The resulting building, the Blue Teal in Wakarusa, Indiana, features an elegant room for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and other events. The project also included adding a dedicated bridal suite. The new facility is able to accommodate up to 400 guests.

The project entailed meticulous planning and execution to meet the owner’s vision of a truly exceptional wedding venue. The new space was thoughtfully designed to accommodate the specific requirements of hosting weddings, ensuring an unforgettable experience for both the couple and their guests.

To cater to the owner’s desire for versatility, the construction team crafted distinct areas within the facility. One room was specially designed to serve as an exquisite wedding hall, providing an elegant backdrop. Meanwhile, another spacious area was dedicated to hosting receptions, fostering a celebratory ambiance where guests could dine, dance, and create cherished memories.
