Project Description
R. Yoder Construction is expanding the Town of Ashley’s wastewater treatment facility with new treatment capacity and process infrastructure designed to improve operational flexibility and long-term reliability. Major improvements include a new headworks building with manual and mechanical bar screens, a 1.5-million-gallon equalization basin, a prefabricated pump building, upgrades to the ferric chloride system, and new electrical, controls, and SCADA infrastructure. Construction is taking place within a highly constrained existing treatment plant while the facility remains operational, requiring careful coordination around active utilities, underground infrastructure, and ongoing treatment operations. Complex excavation, extensive dewatering, phased concrete construction, and integration of the new systems with the existing plant make this expansion a highly coordinated project built to support the community’s wastewater treatment needs for years to come.
