Project Description
R. Yoder Construction completed a 15,300 square foot interior build-out for Eastlake Athletic Club in Nappanee, Indiana .
The project transformed an open commercial space into a fully functioning fitness facility, anchored by a large open workout area with clearly defined circulation paths, support spaces, and organized access points. The layout balances expansive training space with enclosed areas for restrooms, locker rooms, childcare and member services, creating a practical and welcoming environment.
Scope of work included interior framing and drywall, restrooms and locker support areas, mechanical and plumbing coordination, electrical distribution for fitness equipment, and complete interior finishes. Careful coordination was required to integrate new systems into the existing structure while maintaining efficient workflow and clear member circulation.
A defining characteristic of the project is the efficient use of space. The open floor plan maximizes room for equipment and group training while positioning support spaces along the perimeter for easy access and operational efficiency.
The completed Eastlake Athletic Club provides members with a modern, organized, and high-performance fitness environment designed to support health, training, and long-term growth within the community.
